612mtb

612mtb is a youth development mountain bike team serving riders in 6th - 12th grades, who live in south Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Our team consists of riders who currently attend or will attend Southwest, Washburn, Roosevelt, and South high schools, as well as students residing in south Minneapolis and attending other schools.

We train together as a single team, and race under the banners of our respective schools. All team activities occur under the umbrella of the Minnesota Cycling Association (MCA).

About the Team

Our mountain biking season runs from late July to early November.  For athletes who choose to race, the 5 race MCA series begins the last weekend in August and culminates with the state championship in mid-October. Registration for the upcoming 2024 season starts in the early spring.

Girls Who Ride

We are a co-ed team and girls make up a large part of our identity. We strive to ensure every student-athlete gets the attention they deserve and the girls find the space, representation and community that allows them to succeed.
